She is a visual storyteller who is good at revealing her character's emotional world with a sociology and journalistisc background. She recently finished some short documentaries and is screening at international film festivals, including DOC NYC, the biggest documentary film festival in the US. She is a member of Asian American Documentary Network and the Video Consortium. She was educated at the Communication University of China for her first master's degree from 2016-2018, majoring in Broadcast and Television. Currently, she is working towards her second master's degree at the School of Visual Arts MFA program in social documentary film. Her next project is a documentary about an female international Muay Thai fighter and women rights' advocate fight for her community in surge of anti-Asian hate crime during Pandemic in NYC.”

“I started my audiovisual life while still in school. When I was 13, I had to make a video about a specific science content and we decided to create a fictional story, that's when my love for this area started.

Still in High School I had the privilege of studying cinema for a year and I made my first documentary and short film.

After I graduated from high school, I started my academic life doing Game Design, I thought that game animation was what I really wanted to do, but after a year I realized that what I was really passionate about was the cameras, filming and post production. After a year and a half studying and having the privilege of doing some work in the area, I won a scholarship to study in Spain.

At first it was a 6-month scholarship, which was extended to one year, and then I ended up transferring to finish my studies. Today I have a degree in Audiovisual Communication from Universidad Europea Miguel de Cervantes, and recently started my Masters in Digital Editing and Post Production at The Core School, located in the biggest audiovisual hub in Europe.

In all these years studying, I have had the privilege of working in many different audiovisual fields, as well as participating in numerous projects. I highlight my award-winning animated short film "El Gambito" here in Spain, as well as my current documentary, "El Camino Primitivo", which has already been nominated in festivals in England, Brazil, the United States Peru and India.”
