Life sometimes gets in the way. Other times, other people’s summer vacations get in the way. That’s what happened to us. So we’ve been watching movies when we can and we finally have the time – at the same time – to sit down and talk about them. In today’s episode, we review: Lightyear, Prey, Nope, DC League of SuperPets, Samaritan, Top Gun Maverick, and Episodes 1 & 2 of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

It’s the thrilling conclusion to the Jurassic World trilogy and the Jurassic saga. This time, the dinosaurs are loose all over the world and it’s up to the human race to regain dominance over the world. Nah, just kidding. It’s locusts. Yep, the evil corporation owner has a Lex Luthor-style plan to take over the world’s food supply. Why? Never explained. But they throw in a dinosaur or two every 15 minutes or so for you to enjoy so . . . . there.

Warner Brothers follows up their string of successful DC comics movies with another interpretation of the Dark Knight. Robert Pattinson is The Batman. This time, Batman has only been on the job for two years and crime is still rising. But a new and secret villain begins exposing the seedy underbelly of both Gotham’s crime scene and the corrupt government as well.

Uncharted is based on the video game of the same name. It’s a treasure hunting adventure with people Nathan Drake can and cannot trust and rival treasure hunters on their tail. We also take a look at Death on the Nile and Marry Me.
