Join Steph and Jess and we wrap up Jaunty AdventureSeptember with 1987’s Adventures in Babysitting. We agree the car thief, Joe, was the real leading man and Chris should’ve ended up with him instead of boring ol blue eyes. Ya think?

Join Steph and Jess on a Jaunty Adventure to the great outdoors with 1997's Wild America, starring two of our 90's boy crushes. We reminisce over our own adventures in the outdoors making movies with our hand me down camera, and how this movie influenced us. Yes, it’s ridiculous. But it’s for kids. And these kids loved it.

Join Steph and Jess wrap up the Dog Days of Summer with 1983’s Cujo, a PSA for rabies shots and emergency supplies. And, you know, maybe leave the reliable transportation with your wife and child. But the most unbelievable part? That Joe Camber would go to the trouble to put a hold on his mail to go a drinkin’ and a whorin’.

Join Steph and Jess on these Dog Days of Summer with 1998’s Black Dog, starring the perfect man, Patrick, and Mr Randy Travis. We fangirl over “sex in a tank top” Swayze and Steph goes on a deep dive into 1998 to dig up some extra fun facts. We agree this movie is bonkers in the most fun way possible. Haven't seen it yet? Tsk, tsk.
Join Steph and Jess as we come back to land from our exploration into The Big Blue Wet Thing with 2020's Underwater. Steph was pleasantly surprised there were monster monsters and they actually look scary! We agree it's a solid horror flick and has practically every one of Jess's fears in it. And, ya know, Cthulu.

Join Steph and Jess dive into the Big Blue Wet Thing with 1998’s Sphere, a fave of Steph’s in middle school. While we agree some of the design is cool, Jess loves a good spaceship catwalk, the material is meh. When we think of something from space, a golden undulating golf ball just isn’t it. Now a silver undulating golf ball, that’s different. That’s science.

Join Steph and Jess as we wrap up our SOGO (Southern Gothic) Summer with 1997’s Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Steph has a hot take about director Clint "Old Man Yells at Sky" Eastwood, and we both agree the best part about the whole film is the legendary Lady Chablis. “Two tears in a bucket, motherf*ck it” might just be our new life motto.
Join Steph and Jess for a Southern Gothic (SOGO) Summer with 1997’s Eve’s Bayou. We ooo and aww over the gorgeous swampy aesthetic, discuss our thoughts on“that scene”, and play a fun new game, 6 degrees of Samuel L Jackson. See ya later Pineapple Thief!
Join Steph and Jess as we wrap up springing “Back in Time” with 2000’s Frequency, starring Jesus and Randy Quaid’s brother. Steph summed up our feelings of this rewatch perfectly,” It was hot garbage, took too long to get there and doesn’t make any f*cking sense at the end.” Oddly enough, that describes most Dennis Quaid movies.. Go Mets!
