2005's Hard Candy Starring Ellen Page and Patrick Wilson is about a teenage girl that raids a man's home in order to expose him under suspicion that he is a pedophile. This is a well done film considering that it was created for under $1,0000,000 the special features are loaded with content to help your become a better filmmaker.

1984's Gremlins is a must watch for any filmmaker thinking about using puppets as part of the filming process.
