Filmotomy Podcast

What an insightful chat Robin Write had with filmmaker Kate Novack as she discussed the inspiration behind and the technical aspects of her short documentary film Hysterical Girl.

Robin Write speaks to the talented director behind the short film Diagonal, part of the Competition Selection at the 6th Femme Filmmakers Festival.

Robin Write had the pleasure of reconnecting with filmmaker Meghann Artes this time talking about her new short film Oh Baby! which is part of the Competition Selection for the 6th Femme Filmmakers Festival.

Robin Write is joined by the director of the short film PADDY, Roisín Kearney, as well as two of the stars of the films, Cian Hughes and Kiri Flaherty. The film plays as part of the 6th Femme Filmmakers Festival and can be seen with all the over coverage at filmotomy.com.

There are not many words to introduce the latest podcast from Filmotomy. On 22nd November 2020 we all sadly lost Jonathan Holmes. There were so many ways we wanted to immortalise this genuine good guy, in the end Doug Jamieson and Robin Write had a conversation about him, looking back at the impact he had on so many different groups of people. Included here are soundbites from just a few of his many podcast appearances, and scroll down below to links to many others as well as some of his great writing for the site.

R.I.P. Jonathan Holmes (Mister Brown) - you are sadly missed.

Welcome back after three months away. With just one away from the big 100, and with days remaining of Pride Month 2020, the Filmotomy Podcast talks LGBT cinema. Robin Write is joined by the wisdom of his wing-man Doug and newcomer to the show Sarah as they discuss Filmotomy's top 50 LGBT films results as well as voicing support of their own personal favourites. There are a few gripes thrown in too. As always you can subscribe to the show via SoundCloud, iTunes, Stitcher, Spotify and Podbean.

After a rather long break away from the Filmotomy Podcast, we resurface amidst the Coronavirus outbreak. Have a listen and do subscribe to the show via SoundCloud, iTunes, Stitcher, Spotify and Podbean.
