Did you have a Filofax? They were the iPhone of the 80s, 90s and into the 2000s. They came in countless colors and finishes, held your money, your address book and all sorts of other information. Such a handy little thing!

Recently, I came to realize I might become better organized if I write down events and see them in a weekly form, rather than typing them and seeing them day by day. Many of us are no longer tied to a desk and that means we do not sit and stare at a big monitor. Seeing our virtual calendar is difficult for these midlife eyes.

The enclosed video is both a trip down memory lane and thoughts on staying organized in an era when everything has to be gleaned from a 3-inch by 6-inch phone. Enjoy!
