Pastor Jonty and Rev Ness are joined in the studio by Catherine Garner, who shares her story as being a recovering Anglican and self-professed church nerd, discovering her place in the church as a queer, neurodiverse woman.
Catherine is a Uniting church member and a senior peer worker in south-west Sydney. Catherine began her recovery journey in 2004 and her career as a peer worker in 2018. Catherine is passionate about ending carceral mental health care, the importance of community, and good governance. In her spare time, you can find Catherine cross-stitching, crocheting and binge-watching Bravo. You can find Catherine on Twitter/X @catejgarner
