Ness talks about her experience running Blue Christmas services, and the importance of holding the tension between the joys of Christmas and the grief that many people feel at this time of the year. We hear from Cory Schut from Wesley Mission about what they do to look after their community at Christmas time. Jonty and Ness unpack some of the gaps in the Biblical Christmas narrative, and where that allows for things like the recent film Mary to play around in those gaps, even asking us to confront things about our current time that haven't improved since the first century.
