Final Alliance Podcast

Was it the toughest final? Probably not. Did it test these challengers, yes. Do we think that second tier contestants from the flagship could have easily completed TJ's final... absolutely.   That being said, it was still a pretty decent final.

There's a lot to break down in this episode and we're going to get right into it.

Holy sh*t, what a great episode!

What up, Challenge fans? Welcome to the Final Alliance Podcast. We're going to run down everything we know about The Challenge USA: S1E9 "SNevertheless She Persisted" which premiered Wednesday on CBS and Paramount+.

FINALLY an episode that feels like a real Challenge episode. Maybe it's because the elimination is a classic. Maybe it's because there's a little drama, and maybe it's because we see a night out for a change. This episode is solid from front to back.

I went into this episode really wanting to hate it, but the daily challenge was fun and the Elimination was a great nail-biter.

I'm not sure if "A Civil War" is an appropriate title for this episode. It's not sparkly enough. **spoilers**

This was a real nail-biter. We don't want to give too much away, but this episode had us pacing the room. The daily was solid and the elimination didn't disappoint. We score it a B+.  **spoilers**

This is a really solid episode of The Challenge. First off, it's trivia, which is not only TJ's favorite but ours as well. Second, there's a major play made going into elimination that has some people questioning their loyalty to their alliance.

Jay was in Nashville last week for a softball tournament, but this week we put the band back together to discuss this episode of The Challenge USA. As long time fans, we weren't sure how we would feel about this rendition of the Challenge, but it actually is really good to see some new life into a show that has seen champions return over and over again.

As a longtime Challenge fan I give this Final a C+. That doesn't mean that I hated it though. In fact I loved it. I'm solo this week cause Jay is in Nashville for a National Softball tournament. Super nervous, but we're going to get this done because if you didn't know, I love the Challenge.
