Final Games

Hey hey! No new Final Games episode this week, due to being in Tokyo last week. But, I would like to tell you about something happening this Friday!

I'm going to be doing my first ever live stream over on Twitch. Lots of people have asked me to do a Q&A video, so I thought I would just do a Q&A live stream and play some games at the same time. SO, gonna be answering questions about the show, guests and games. As well as actually playing games that have featured on the show.

It'd be cool if you could join!

Joining Liam this week is former Xbox LIVE Editor and co-host of SentUAMessage, Dan Maher. The, now, Editorial Director of Explosive Alan Productions tells some incredibly interesting stories of his gaming past and recalls tales that revolve around each of his eight games. Including, even a story about neglecting his pregnant wife in a Czech Republic hotel to play a game! It's a wonderful episode, that we hope you enjoy!

Don't forget to follow on Soundcloud and leave a comment about what you thought of Dan's choices! We'd love to hear what you the listeners think of the guest's choices and let's have a lovely discussion :)

Liam's making videos! He's reviewing games, definitely check out his latest video about Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE

Switching things up this week! Liam is joined by someone who doesn't work in the games industry! This week musician, Matt West the guitarist for the popular pop-punk band, Neck Deep joins Liam to talk games. Matt has been playing games ever since he was young and continues to keep up with his love of JRPGs whilst touring the world. And as you might expect, Matt's deserted island is full of JRPGs and this episode is a love letter to those generic, safe but comforting JRPGs.

Don't forget to follow on Soundcloud and leave a comment about what you thought of Matt's choices! We'd love to hear what you the listeners think of the guest's choices and let's have a lovely discussion :)

Joining Liam this week to be cast off is IGN's News Editor, Joe Skrebels. The former Official Nintendo Magazine News Editor and Liam let their inner fanboys over come them, with some serious gushing over games that remove their inability to speak coherently. This week's episode is a delightful reminder of just how much games can mean to us and how they make us feel superb. Hope you enjoy!

Don't forget to follow on Soundcloud and leave a comment about what you thought of Joe's choices! We'd love to hear what you the listeners think of the guest's choices and let's have a lovely discussion :)

Former Wired writer and current news editor for Kotaku, Jason Schreier joins Liam this week to be cast off to a new virtual world. Jason shares with Liam the 8 games he's taking with him. A list of 8 that, for anyone who knows or has read Jason's work before will realize, might contain a few JRPGs. It's another excellent episode that really digs deep into why games matter to us and how they can have such emotional impacts on us! Please enjoy.

Don't forget to follow on Soundcloud and leave a comment about what you thought of Jason's choices! We'd love to hear what you the listeners think of the guest's choices and let's have a lovely discussion :)

This week's episode, Liam speaks with Mr. Monster Hunter himself, Adam Evanko. Or as he's known by thousands on YouTube, Gaijinhunter. The tutorial and MonHan master (who also happens to be a game producer in Tokyo) tells Liam about his top 8 games. He also gets very personal and tells some stories that his fans won't have heard before. It's an excellent episode that may or may not feature some talk of a certain Capcom Hunting game...

Enjoy hunting whilst listening to this episode!

Don't forget to follow on Soundcloud and leave a comment about what you thought of Adam's choices! We'd love to hear what you the listeners think of the guest's choices and let's have a lovely discussion :)
