Final Stop For Final Fantasy Talks

The boys continue their push through the end of the story in Final Fantasy X! After taking a brief moment to finish up the conversation on Celestial weapons, Mark and Alex dive back into Sin to see what comes next. The inside of Sin is quite bizarre and as if the crew was transported to an alternate dimension in open space. No doubt there's the final (hopefully!) encounter with Seymour as we're aware he's inside Sin as well with the heavy foreshadowing of his laughter and image.

Mark and Alex progress the story line in Final Fantasy X by taking on Sin! In this climactic battle, the crew is attempting to traverse inside of Sin to confront Yu Yevon, but it's easier said than down. Taking on the beast is no simply task but a marathon of amazing cinematics is the reward! The boys finish up by discussing Celestial Weapons, including where to find and upgrade them.

In this last installment of the Blitzball Series, Mark and Alex wrap up by discussing their final thoughts on this Final Fantasy X mini-game. The boys finish off their picks for their level 1-30 All-Star teams, discuss some favorite players, and talk through what improvements they would make to Blitzball. This mini-series has been a blast and it's farewell to Blitzball, for now!

Taking a brief pause from the story walkthrough, Mark and Alex begin to dig into the massive amount of side content in Final Fantasy X. Discussed in this episode are the airship passwords and hidden coordinates, Belgemine and Remiem Temple, Cavern of the Stolen Fayth, and Baaj Temple. These optional areas contain the most powerful, and hidden, aeons which are well worth picking up! The boys also cover treasures and prizes found in these areas, which includes the ever-frustrating chocobo race at Remiem Temple.

The boys pick up where they left off in the story in their Final Fantasy X walkthrough! The crew heads back to Bevelle to confront Maester Mika and get more information on how to destroy Sin now that Yunalesca is dead. Mika does offer some details, but it is the fayth of Bahamut that finally fills in the majority of missing pieces. Yu Yevon was an age-past summoner that summons Sin from within, and once Sin is destroyed he uses the Final Aeon to give birth to a new one. With a new target in their sights, Yu Yevon, the party quickly devises a plan on the next course of action.

The second-to-last Final Fantasy X Blitzball Series episode is packed full of content! Mark and Alex make their 4th picks in the levels 1-30 All-Star challenge, discuss the many remaining shot techniques, and stat deep-dive into Brother (a usual fan favorite) and Mifurey. There is so much content in Blitzball that this mini-game is certainly at the top for our best of any RPG out there!

Mark and Alex continue their Final Fantasy X walkthrough in the story-rich section of the game when the party confronts Lady Yunalesca about Sin. Yuna refuses to play her role in the "spiral of death" which ultimately leads to battling against the ancient summoner, and what a boss battle this is! The naked truth is exposed about the eternal rebirth of Sin, and Jecht (Sin) even pays them all a visit once the conflict is resolved.

The boys progress their way through the ruins of Zanarkand and stop along the way to discuss the various story scenes. The multiple flashbacks of memories from summoners and guardians provide some great filler details on what's to come with the Final Aeon. The Cloister in Zanarkand is quite quick and easy and the party encounters the next boss, Spectral Keeper, once it is finished. The episode concludes after the discussion the crew has with Yunalesca, learning that there is no Final Aeon and Yuna must choose which guardian to sacrifice to become the fayth for the summoning.

The boys are back with another Blitzball series episode! They begin by selecting their next picks for the levels 1-30 All-Star teams, discuss unique/interesting shot techniques, and deep dive into the stats of a couple of players.

Content is swiftly coming to an end for this mini-game, but it's crazy how much there is in general and it's been a blast to put together!

Mark and Alex continue the story and progress through the Mt. Gagazet cave. There are a couple of little trials that are needed to be completed, and other than that this area is mostly filled with tons of random encounters! After dispatching another boss at the top, the crew gets a great look at the ruined city of Zanarkand and the story completes a full circle bringing the timeline up to Tidus's story from the very beginning scene.
