Money is the root of ALL evil!

And if you have money, you are evil TOO! So, give up all of your money and cleanse yourself of its filthy ways. Any takers? Anybody? None?! I didn’t think so. I didn’t think I would get too many people to agree with me. But why? Have we all not heard this phrase “money is the root of all evil?” We have. But this and many scriptures in the Bible are taken out of context, used to control individuals, and leaves many of us broke and unfulfilled.

Does knowing everything about Finance make you a great Christian advisor? I venture to say, no! It is nearly impossible to know all the nuances that comes with a specific industry. You may be a savvy shopper, but the employees at Target, know the specific dates that certain clothes go on sale. You may have an understanding of your insurance, but an agent will know certain governmental regulations that may pass that can change your coverage. The point is that a great financial advisor will help you find the best answer for your situation. Never relying strictly on his knowledge but leveraging the knowledge of other professionals as well.

You will learn that:

1. Advisors are just like general practitioner doctors that help diagnose issues and refer to specialist if needed.
2. An advisor should be concerned with preventative care and future foresight and not strictly the short term ups and downs of the market.
