Today's sector leaders were industrials (+2.55%), energy (+1.96%), and financials (+1.91%), which are also the year's sector losers. Market sentiment is bullish and investors don't want to pull-out. They also don't want to keep buying high priced info tech stocks and hoping to sell higher. So what do they do? Rotate their money to lagging sectors.

It's not a coincidence that we liquidated 95% of our portfolio before the NDX fell (-4.0%). We've been warning about banks reporting their Q2 this week and how it'll negatively impact the market. Also, will bitcoin be a good hedge against a market sell-off?

Next week the banks are reporting their Q2 and they're expected to be horrendous. Wells Fargo (WFC) is only 15% away from its 52-week low, so is this the bottom? If bank stocks sink the market will sink. If they can outperform then we have Visa (V) on our watchlist.

Buy dips, not peaks. CCL is 234% away from its pre-covid stock price and MTCH is rebounding off its 50-day moving average. Why buy TSLA and AMZN high and hope to sell higher when there's other stocks that can be bought low? 

"Buy the dip" is a common phrase in the financial industry, but is it actually practiced? We said we were buying the dip on June 26th and disclosed who we were buying. Since June 26th our "buy the dip" plays rocketed.  Amazon (+13.7%),   Zillow (+11.8%), Salesforce (+8%), and Visa (+4.5%).

The S&P posted its fourth best quarter since 1950. What happens next? Historically the next quarter is followed by an 8% gain. 

Based on seven years of trade data, the information technology sector will outperform all other sectors over the next three months. Semiconductor companies such as Nvidia and AMD have had incredible gains, but will they continue to gain through the summer?

August and September are historically the worst performing months for the S&P. But not all sectors do poorly. We did the research and know who are the historic winners and losers for the upcoming months. All you have to do is listen. 

It's not a good sign when the tech stocks begin to lose. Facebook dropped (-8.5%) and had its highest sell volume day in over two years. Google also lost  more than 5% after reporting loss in ad revenue. Has the coronavirus rally ended? 

We're two young guys and we know how to pull out. Today's market drop was beautiful to watch since we liquidated in hopes for a drop. Going forward we're putting our money into stocks that outperformed the market during the sell-off such as CRM and AMZN. Unfortunately we're stuck in a couple of utility companies. Should we sell and move the money somewhere else? 

SPX is hell bent on testing 3200 for a second time. The NDX is making new highs as Apple, Amazon, Tesla, and Facebook push higher, but why is Google lagging? Retail traders were able to run up cruise and airlines but Carnival's underwhelming Q2 report has since drug the stock's price down. We're waiting for the stock to sink more before we rescue jack.
