Earlier this month Kroger (#KR) announced their Q4 earnings and missed analyst expectations. The company reported GAAP EPS of -$0.10 (miss by $0.79) and revenue of $30.74B (+6.4% Y/Y).
Some investors and analysts are bearish on #Kroger because they reported identical sales of +10.6%, but do expect 2021 identical sales to be in the range of 9% to 11%. This does signal stagnating, or even shrinking growth, which could prompt investors to sell. One investor that isn't selling, but is actually adding to his position, is Warren Buffett. It was announced last month the Buffett is adding to his Kroger stake, so should investors be adding too?
