I recently wrapped up a tough archaeological fieldwork project in Louisiana. This state is one of the most challenging places that I've worked in throughout my career. Much of the environment there can be described in one word... briers, and lots of them too! They get in the way of the results that I want to achieve in the field. Therefore, I have two options; find a way around them or make a way through them. In this solocast, I talk about these choices and how they can be applied to other areas of life.
