Many people in our nation are pursuing the American Dream of ease and prosperity, while ignoring the word and warnings of God concerning some pending calamity.

When your faith collides with culture, and it inevitably will, you will have to decide what you believe about God. Is it more important to bow to the gods of culture or hold to your faith in the God of heaven.

We live in a culture lost to God, lost to His word and lost to His ways. Unsolved mysteries prompt a believer to seek God. However, a lost culture will always look elsewhere for answers. Daniel and his friends were in the province of Babylon by the providence of God. They used that opportunity to help Nebuchadnezzar find answers from God. We can be shining lights in the midst of our own culture as they seek answers to their own unsolved mysteries.

Many Christian parents are trusting the gods of culture to give their children success rather than the God of Heaven. This message explores how Daniel and his friends committed themselves to be vessels for honor and refused to bow to the gods of culture.

Our children and grandchildren find themselves immersed in a kingdom that is as foreign to us as Babylon was to Daniel and his friends. They are being introduced to a new kingdom and its culture. This message explores the concerted effort of cultural forces to kidnap the minds and hearts of our people in our society.
