In their first week off ever, a lot of NBA news has happened, so Marco and Lukas are back to catch up with it all. Lukas's beloved Wiz made a big splash signing Spencer Dinwiddie, and he couldn't be happier with the fit and the roster flexibility it gives the Wizards. Dennis Schroder has ended up with MLE chump change after turning a big extension with the Lakers last off-season, and Marco thinks the Celtics are ready to take another small shuffle backwards. Also: Jeff Green, Eric Bledsoe, the Olympics, Breanna Stewart's baby and the big winners and losers from free agency so far.

The first day of NBA free agency has been and gone, and although it's not the most earth-shattering free agency class, there have been some major shake-ups. Russell Westbrook's trade to the Lakers has leaved fans baffled and Lukas over the moon – he and Marco discuss what on earth Rob Pelinka was thinking and how much this benefits the Wizards. Also: Lowry bolsters the Heat, the Bulls man up and defensive specialist Devonte' Graham joins the Pelicans.

The Milwaukee Bucks are the 2021 NBA champions! Marco and Lukas accidentally talk about USA Basketball before quickly returning to Giannis's epic performance in Game 6 and the whole series, the championship team the Bucks became and what's next for the Phoenix Suns. Olympics basketball has kicked off with a solid win over Nigeria for the Boomers, a disappointing loss to Belgium for the Opals, and a humiliation of Team USA by France. And the first trade of the pre-draft period has happened, sending Valanciunas to New Orleans and Steven Adams and Eric Bledsoe to Memphis – the boys discuss the fit for each team and the organisational path each trade sets.

We could be one game away from crowning a champion for the 2021 NBA season – or at the very worst, two.
