Also: the blindness of fandom, Clint Capela's 27-26-5 and rare triple double, the winning streak in Utah, Collin Sexton's sonning of Kyrie Irving and a possible playoffs tilt for his Cavaliers.

Your eyes didn't deceive you, that wasn't paint thinner in your teacup: James Harden has played his first game for the Brooklyn Nets and boy was it pretty! The boys take a look at the match-ups in a possible/legendary Lakers-Nets Finals series, the return of Ja, the culture of winning (or not losing) building in New York, what's going right and wrong for the Pels and a blockbuster trade to shake up some Eastern Conference blues.

EMERGENCY POD! EMERGENCY POD! The boys convened on Marco's way to work to talk about the unthinkable: James Harden to the Brooklyn Nets. What does this mean for each team in the deal, and what in God's name do the Nets look like on the court now?

The season trundles on, and so does the show! The boys talk about their new hated players, the entertainment in Houston, the most boring team in the NBA the Tampa Bay Raptors, what makes a good franchise tick, why the two-for-one is really the none-for-one, the resurgence at the Warriors, how good it feels to dunk a basketball and the few tiny adjustments Lukas needs in Washington to build a team that can win games.

Lukas gives Marco a glimpse of what it's like to be a Wizards fan as Westbrook wreaks havoc (from within!) on his poor team. The boys somehow find a way to criticise both the Wiz and the Clippers after clutch wins from both sides. They feel themselves about picking the Suns and the Hawks as playoff locks, and talk through the mild to full-blown crises brewing in Denver and Toronto. Oh, and Steph Curry drops a fat stack on Portland's head and the Knicks are good again? Also Lukas is high on spicy noodles and Marco almost munts. We're not drunk we swear.

Basketball has been back just a few days, but boy is there a lot to talk about! Lukas and Marco talk about their early impressions of the Wiz and the Pels, then talk through the promising and not-so-promising signs from the first few games of the 2020-21 NBA season: the Second Coming of Christ(ian Wood), how Pop Smoke is bringing another ring to Cleveland, the good the bad and the ugly of the rookie class and the trials and tribulations of Kelly Oubre Jr and the Warriors.

With the real life NBA basketball season a day away, the boys give their 7 playoff locks, their 4 teams out of the playoff picture, and their 4 contenders for the 8th seed for each conference. Also the Kuz, Gobert and Giannis contracts bring up some questions about loyalty, honour and yee yee ass haircuts.

Who is the greatest basketball player of all time? Nothing gets clicks faster than that, so of course the boys had to record a pod about it. Lukas and Marco take us through their argument for the GOAT, their NBA Mount Rushmores, the players they wish they were around to see and their favourite players to watch. Also Jimmy P stops in for some reason.

The day Lukas has feared for so long (or a week or two) has finally come – John Wall traded to the Rockets for Russell Westbrook. The boys also discuss Lebron and AD's contracts and what it means for the future of the league, and the question that's been on everybody's lips – which "Troy" character corresponds to which NBA player?

Marco rants about how much he hates NBA Reddit and Twitter, which is a lot.
