Tony Robinson is one of the hosts of BiggerPockets (on the Real Estate Rookie Podcast with over 2 million downloads) and is well-known in the Real Estate Investing Market. Tony started his investment career focusing on long-term rentals but swiftly found a tremendous opportunity with short-term rentals. Since seeing the income potential with short-term rents, he since redirected his focus 100% on building a short-term rental business.

On December 23, 2020, Tony was fired from his job.
With barely any income, Tony and his wife's backs were against the wall.
At the time, they had two active STRs and were working on launching a third. So, Tony had to make a decision…
To either go full force on this STR business or go out and find another job. Tony decided to bet on himself, and over the next 12 months, he added ten more properties to their portfolio.
