Join Jessica for a brief Tonglen meditation practice. Tonglen is a meditation from the Buddhist tradition that is also known as “taking and sending" that reverses our usual logic. While we often meditate on drawing in healing resources and letting go of suffering, Tonglen guides us to visualize taking in the pain of others with every in-breath and sending out whatever will benefit them on the out-breath. In the process, we become liberated from patterns of selfishness and ideas of scarcity, and awaken to abundance and compassion. Tonglen awakens our compassion and introduces us to a bigger perspective and new reality.
