One of the more complex visas that Pinoys go through is a partner visa. We’ve received a few questions about this particular visa so we decided to invite someone who can talk to us about her experience with it.

So last week we talked about the Filipino work ethics abroad - and sat down with Jay-r's previous manager Sundae who talked about her observations and workplace tips for Pinoys abroad. Meet Matt Proft! Tina used to work with him in her past life in Manila - promoting Australian businesses in the Philippines. He was their Trade Commissioner based in Manila for a few months. He led the team promoting Australian products and services in the Philippines, and he worked with the Manila team in implementing campaigns and rolling out events.

Fast forward to today, he’s now working in the New South Wales Treasury creating support for startups, scaleups and Ecosystem partners.
