Lv: Ziema bija pienākusi Rīgai, un sniegs klāja pilsētu kā balta sega.
En: Winter had arrived in Rīga, and snow covered the city like a white blanket.

Lv: Gaisma no Ziemassvētku eglēm mirgoja ielās, radot maģisku atmosfēru.
En: The light from the Christmas trees twinkled in the streets, creating a magical atmosphere.

Lv: Ilze stāvēja pie St. Pētera baznīcas torņa un skatījās uz augšu.
En: Ilze stood by the St. Pētera church tower, looking up.
