She's an 11x World medalist including 5 world titles in the 500m sprints and short sprints. In 2008 she was inducted into the Canadian Hall of fame. She's the current President and CEO of sport Calgary, she is on the Canada games vice-chair counsel as well as Canada games special Olympics Canada board member and current Chef De mission of team Canada at the Beijing 2022 Olympic games.
