Story Transcript:

Sl: Jure je stal na robu zaledenelega Blejskega jezera, zavarovan v zimski jakni, zdolgočasen in zmeden.
En: Jure stood at the edge of the frozen Bled Lake, bundled up in a winter coat, feeling bored and confused.

Sl: Božič je bil pred vrati, prinašal je veselje, smeh, a tudi pritiske.
En: Christmas was near, bringing with it joy, laughter, but also pressure.

Sl: Njegova prijatelja, Maja in Tina, sta že čakala.
En: His friends, Maja and Tina, were already waiting.

Sl: Tina si je vezala drsalke, medtem ko se je Maja smejala in delila piškote iz nahrbtnika.
En: Tina was lacing up her skates while Maja laughed and shared cookies from her backpack.

Sl: Blejsko jezero je bilo veličastno.
En: Blejsko jezero was magnificent.

Sl: Ko je Jure gledal čez zamrznjeno površino, je videl oddaljene luči, ki so se odsevale v ledu, kot zvezde na nočnem nebu.
En: As Jure looked across the frozen surface, he saw distant lights reflecting in the ice, like stars in the night sky.

Sl: Pogled na jezero je bil nadrealističen, kot iz praznične razglednice.

Sl: V tem trenutku je Jure ugotovil, da življenje ni tekma za izpolnitev vsakogaršnjih pričakovanj.
En: In that moment, Jure realized that life isn't a race to fulfill everyone's expectations.

Sl: "Kaj praviš, Jure?
En: "What do you say, Jure?

Sl: Boš spet z nami naslednje leto?
En: Will you join us again next year?"
