Is God calling you to a career you feel less than prepared for and question if you should take the next step? God wants to use you and your career to further His Kingdom. Today, we dive into the story of Noah to learn lessons of obedience, courage, and being called to work in the world according to God's word.
In Today’s Episode We Discuss:
- The story of Noah is more than a story for children. It teaches us the love of God, following God, and working for God with courage. [02:40]
- God gives Noah the plans to build the ark [04:15]
- How do following Jesus and business principles align? [08:02]
- Put yourself in the shoes of Noah. God tells him to build an Ark. Even though Noah wasn't an Ark builder [10:14]
- Noah shows his obedience to God's plan for 70ish years, building a boat while enduring people ridiculing him. [11:30]
- God provides what we need when it's his vision and plan. [12:45]
- God tells us to make our plans but not to decide for certain what our tomorrow will look like. [14:11]
- God will provide, and we are to show up and hone our skills. [16:10]
- My goal is for you to trust and follow God's will for your life. [17:30]
- God sends the animals and takes care of the details. [18:50]
- Leaders have big visions that others won't believe are possible at first. [21:10]
- God works through people. It's not enough for us to love God and believe we must take action. [22:00]
- What we ask God for, we will have to make sacrifices for. [23:05]
- God will give you the steps to be successful in your career. [24:10]
