Cs: Jakub se probudil jedno jarní ráno, když slunce prosvítalo skrz záclony malého bytu.
En: Jakub woke up one spring morning as the sun shone through the curtains of his small apartment.

Cs: Zvuk města, ruch a hovor lidí ho lákaly ven.
En: The sounds of the city, the hustle and bustle of people, lured him outside.

Cs: Jako fotograf na volné noze trávil většinu času doma, ale ten den bylo něco ve vzduchu.
En: As a freelance photographer, he spent most of his time at home, but there was something in the air that day.

Cs: Rozhodl se vzít fotoaparát a vyrazit k mostu, který pro něj měl zvláštní kouzlo – Karlův most.
En: He decided to take his camera and set off for the bridge that held a special charm for him – Karlův most.

Cs: Jakub procházel Prahou, kochající se krásou kvetoucích sakur, které zdobily ulice.
En: Jakub strolled through Praha, admiring the beauty of blooming sakura trees that adorned the streets.

Cs: Vltava líně plynula a odrážela sluneční paprsky, které se třpytily na hladině jako tisíce maličkých hvězd.

Cs: Jakub se skrýval za objektivem svého fotoaparátu, zachytával okamžiky: smích dětí, objetí milenců, úsměv starého páru.

Cs: Byl okouzlen, ale přesto cítil jistou prázdnotu.

Cs: Na jednom konci mostu stála Ludmila a Marek, dva cizinci ve městě, vzájemně si hledící do očí, jakoby kolem nich neexistoval žádný jiný svět.
En: At one end of the bridge stood Ludmila and Marek, two strangers in the city, gazing into each other's eyes as if no other world existed around them.

Cs: Tato scéna ho dojala.
En: This scene moved him.

Cs: Nečekal, že takový moment ho zasáhne tolik na nitru.
En: He hadn't expected such a moment to touch him so deeply.

Cs: Jakub váhal.
En: Jakub hesitated.

Cs: Měl jim dát fotku?
En: Should he give them the photo?

Cs: Přemohl svůj strach a přistoupil k nim.
En: He overcame his fear and approached them.

Cs: Zaklepal Marekovi na rameno.
En: He tapped Marek on the shoulder.

Cs: „Omlouvám se, ale zachytil jsem vás na fotografii,“ řekl nervózně a ukázal jim fotku.
En: “Excuse me, but I captured you in a photograph,” he said nervously, and showed them the photo.

Cs: Ludmila se usmála.
En: Ludmila smiled.

Cs: „To je krásné!
En: “That's beautiful!

Cs: Děkujeme!“ Společně si prohlédli fotku.
En: Thank you!” They looked at the photo together.

Cs: Pak mu Marek nabídl: „Nechtěl bys se k nám přidat na kávu?
En: Then Marek offered, “Would you like to join us for coffee?

Cs: Rádi bychom tě poznali.“ Jakub cítil, jak mu počáteční nervozita mizí.
En: We'd love to get to know you.” Jakub felt his initial nervousness fade away.

Cs: "Rád," odpověděl a připojil se k nim.
En: "I'd love to," he replied and joined them.

Cs: Začala se rozvíjet nová přátelství.
En: New friendships began to blossom.

Cs: Jakub pochopil, že spojení s lidmi nemusí být těžké, pokud se člověk odváží udělat první krok.
En: Jakub understood that connecting with people doesn't have to be difficult if one dares to take the first step.

Cs: Tohle malé odvážné gesto mu ukázalo, že není nutné být sám.
En: This small courageous gesture showed him that it isn't necessary to be alone.

Cs: Doufal, že takových momentů bude víc.

Cs: Jakub se vracel domů s novou vášní pro fotografování a srdcem naplněným novými zážitky.

Cs: Věděl, že pro pocit sounáležitosti nemusí cestovat daleko, občas stačí odvážit se vyjít ven a vpustit do života nové lidi.

Cs: Tehdy Karlův most získal pro Jakuba nový význam – místo nejen krásy, ale i setkání, okamžiků, které stojí za to zachytit a sdílet.
