Lv: Rīgas Centrāltirgus bija dzīvs kā Ziemassvētku brīnums.
En: Rīgas Centrāltirgus was alive like a Christmas miracle.

Lv: Lampiņas mirgoja pār mazajiem kioskēm, un visur valdīja gaidu un prieka sajūta.
En: Lights twinkled over the small kiosks, and everywhere there was a sense of anticipation and joy.

Lv: Māris un Liene staigāja zem kupolu jumtiem, izbaudot piparkūku un karstvīna smaržu.
En: Māris and Liene walked under the domed roofs, enjoying the scent of gingerbread and mulled wine.

En: But today, they were not only seekers of joy.
