Cs: Velikonoční ráno na venkově v Čechách bylo klidné a svěží.
En: Easter morning in the Czech countryside was peaceful and fresh.

Cs: Jakub vystoupil z malého dřevěného domku, kde strávil poslední noc.
En: Jakub stepped out of the small wooden cottage where he had spent the last night.

Cs: Před ním se rozprostírala pohádková krajina plná zeleně a rašících květů.
En: Before him unfolded a fairytale landscape full of greenery and budding flowers.

Cs: Dlouho se na to díval.
En: He looked at it for a long time.

Cs: Cítil se tak vzdálený od svého domova a přátel.
En: He felt so distant from his home and friends.

Cs: Po dlouhé době se vrátil z města, kde žil a pracoval, ale odkdy se vrátil, jeho srdce nevědělo pokoj.
En: After a long time, he returned from the city where he lived and worked, but ever since he returned, his heart knew no peace.

Cs: Petr, jeho nejlepší kamarád, a Anna, sestřenice, přišli, aby s ním strávili Velikonoce.
En: Petr, his best friend, and Anna, his cousin, came to spend Easter with him.

Cs: „Chceš jít na procházku?
En: "Do you want to go for a walk?"

Cs: “ navrhl Petr.
En: Petr suggested.

Cs: „Je ideální počasí.
En: "It's perfect weather."

Cs: “Jakub přikývl.
En: Jakub nodded.

Cs: „Ano, možná mi to pročistí hlavu.
En: "Yes, maybe it will clear my head."

Cs: “Společně se tedy vydali na stezku, která se vinula skrze lesy a kopce, jimiž kdysi často chodil.
En: Together they set off down a path that wound through the woods and hills he often walked in the past.

Cs: Anna po cestě sbírala mladé květiny a vyprávěla příběhy z dětství, které byli všichni zažili.
En: Anna gathered young flowers along the way and told stories from childhood that they all experienced.

Cs: Jakub se smál, ale někde uvnitř jej stále hlodal pocit, že se sem nehodí.
En: Jakub laughed, but somewhere inside, he still had the feeling that he didn't belong here.

Cs: Když slunce bylo vysoko nad hlavou, obloha se najednou zatáhla a spustil se prudký liják.
En: When the sun was high overhead, the sky suddenly clouded over, and a heavy rain started.

Cs: Všichni tři rychle běželi hledat úkryt a schovali se pod mohutným dubem.
En: All three quickly ran to find shelter and hid under a mighty oak tree.

Cs: Kapky deště bubnovaly na listy nad jejich hlavami.
En: Raindrops drummed on the leaves above their heads.

Cs: Ticho rušilo jen šumění deště.
En: The silence was only disturbed by the sound of the rain.

Cs: Petr, který si všiml Jakubova napětí, se ho zeptal: „Jak cabítíš teď, když jsi zpátky?
En: Petr, who noticed Jakub's tension, asked him, "How do you feel now that you're back?"

Cs: “Jakub zaváhal, ale pak začal mluvit.
En: Jakub hesitated, but then he started to speak.

Cs: „Cítím se jako outsider.
En: "I feel like an outsider.

Cs: Všechno se změnilo.
En: Everything has changed.

Cs: Já jsem se změnil.
En: I've changed."

Cs: “Anna se jemně usmála a podívala se na něj.
En: Anna gently smiled and looked at him.

Cs: „Jakube, domov není o tom, kde jsi.
En: "Jakub, home isn't about where you are.

Cs: Je to o tom, kdo s tebou je.
En: It's about who is with you.

Cs: My jsme tu pro tebe.
En: We're here for you."

Cs: “V tom okamžiku Jakub pocítil něco krásného.
En: In that moment, Jakub felt something beautiful.

Cs: Nejenom kapky deště, ale i teplo jejich přátelství.
En: Not just the raindrops but also the warmth of their friendship.

Cs: Jak se mraky rozestoupily a slunce znovu vykouklo, cítil, že se s ním i jeho obavy rozplývají.
En: As the clouds dispersed and the sun peeked out again, he felt his worries melt away with them.

Cs: Společně se vydali dál po lesní cestě.
En: They continued together along the forest path.

Cs: Dešťová voda stékala po čerstvě olistěných stromech a celá krajina působila nově, svěží.
