I went on a 3 day vacation to Williamsburg, VA. At the same time, I am reading a history book for seminary. The two collided and I found myself hurting. Sometimes history is not so much nostalgic as it is sad. BUT, it is real and it is a good thing to study and learn about.

Most humans would agree we are born with a spirit, a soul. And with that, a need to commune with a universal spirit. I call Him God, but other cultures throughout the beginning of humanity have given this spirit a different name. Discipline is not getting a spanking or getting grounded; at least not self-discipline. BUT, I believe self-discipline is a key to self-love and discovering joy. Discipline in caring for yourself. Discipline with the Creator of the Universe who created the beautiful, unique YOU! AND, He absolutely LOVES YOU and HOW He created you and WHO He created you to be.
