Devotional: Thomas Edison didn't fail a thousand times; he discovered a thousand ways a bulb wouldn't light. Failure is not your enemy—it's your teacher. Paul's thorn in the flesh, sent to torment him, actually drove him to his knees where he discovered that God's grace is sufficient. What satan means for harm, God uses to draw you closer to Him. You are not judged by how many times you fall but by how many times you get back up. When you say, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me," you're not claiming your own power—you're acknowledging His power working through you. Nothing beats a failure but a try, and nothing empowers a try like faith in Christ.

Reflection Question: What "failure" or "struggle" - "hardship" in my life is God actually using as a building block for my ultimate good and success in His Kingdom?

This isn't just politics—it's a spiritual battle. We can't legislate compassion or print prosperity, but we can be the light with love - in our communities.

As we celebrate 250 years of American freedom, let's remember that true freedom is found only in Jesus Christ. The government can't change hearts—only Jesus Christ can. Will you answer the call to wake up, pray, seek and speak truth, and engage?

Devotional: Twelve spies saw the same giants, the same walls, the same obstacles. Ten said, "We can't." Two said, "God can." Same situation, different attitude, vastly different outcomes. The ten died in the wilderness; Joshua and Caleb entered the Promised Land. Your attitude doesn't change your circumstances immediately, but it determines whether you'll walk through them with God or wander in circles of unbelief. A faith-filled attitude doesn't guarantee you'll avoid the desert, but it does guarantee you'll walk through it with your God and live to see His promises fulfilled. Stop focusing on the size of your problems and start remembering the size of your God.

A Question of Reflection: Am I viewing my situation through the lens of my limitations or through the lens of God's limitless power?
