This is the first solo video I've made in over 1.5 months (almost 2 months, actually) and so I wanted to talk about that--only I attempted to do so in a more abstract way. Some of the things I was mumbling about here are really fascinating to me so far as it concerns flow states, meaning, and personal interests.

Sorry about not publishing/recording this yesterday or the day before. Hopefully, I'll be able to get back on track. Looks like, though, that next week will be a dead week because I will be out of town.

This is my first conversation with Richard. I had some technical difficulties during this conversation, and, because of this, the beginning was not recorded. We prayed to begin the conversation which Richard thought would be a good "angel" (or "spirit") to start our conversation out with (and I agreed). We talked about our own lives and then transitioned to briefly talk about the nature of truth (which we hope to continue discussing in the future). I hope someone finds something helpful in here. I greatly enjoyed it and look forward to the next time I will get to talk to Richard.

Note: for those of you who were regularly watching my videos I apologize for the complete halt in production over the last month. I am, at the moment, planning to try to release one video every Tuesday. I think the size of my channel doesn't warrant any more than that and I am also having many things to tend to outside of my stuff online. Hopefully I can keep the once-a-week pace up.

In this video, I talk with Noah Shaffmaster, my friend from the basketball team. This was my first in person conversation that I’ve recorded and posted. In it, we go and talk about everything from cults to Christianity. Noah and I have had a few deep in person conversations, so this one more or less builds off of some of those. I’ve been trying to understand what Noah thinks about God and religion and this conversation was very helpful in that.

This video is on the book "Boys in the Boat" by Daniel James Brown. I thought this story portrayed, more than anything, the value and necessity that we are involved in a community of trust.

Episode 66

I finally was able to watch the new Spider-Man movie and here are my takeaways. In sum, I can't remember a more Christian movie that I have ever watched. There are definitely others that are close, but this one seems to represent a very important piece of the Christ story. Hope you enjoy and feel free to give me any pushback.
