Isaiah 9:6 KJV For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote the poem, “I Heard the Bells”. As He writes of peace on earth, good will to men, he comments that in despair he bowed his head, “There is no peace on earth,” he said. We live in a contentious world, where peace is the exception and not the norm. Therefore, peace comes only with effort and decision. This Sunday’s message demonstrates that peace is not just a state of mind… it is the foundation upon which our life is built when we receive and submit to the Prince of Peace. If you have areas of contention in your life, health, finances, or relatiionships, this will be an eye-opener and a load-lifter for you.
