Restore Yourself. Restore Your Marriage.

Finding Perspective in Friendships

Listen Later

Human beings are created to be social.  Wait, what?  That's right!  We are meant to have a social life and to interact with others.  And today we are going to take a closer look at how our social life is a internal part of our personal development, as well as the development of ourselves as a couple.

Listen in on today's episode as we explore the beauties of creating a social life that adds value, meaningfulness, and FUN into our lives.  As we define what it means to be social, we can start to expand what it means to connect with others while we increase our compassion for them and learn from them.  Going on double dates with other couples is a great way to share our unique love story, listen to theirs, and reflect on what attracted us to our spouse in the first place, when the love started to blossom.  Moments like these can really stir up such wonderful feelings between a couple.

Having our own social life on a personal level, in addition to the social life we have as a couple, expands who we are and is part of our growth.  We are not meant to be alone, simply because it sometimes seems easier.  Listen in today and see how you can add more FUN into your life each week as you focus on this important topic.
