This week on the show, Motivational Speaker, Author, Podcast Host & Marine Allen Levi Simmons Joins me on the show.

I had a great conversation with Allen, we touch on so many different things, from life to business, relationships, war stories, this is a heavy conversation but Allen's story and the transformation that he made to just function normally is an incredible story that you will hear as the conversation goes.

Allen Levi Simmons is a native of Summerville, SC and the United States Marine Corps Combat Veteran who has deployed to Baghdad, Iraq and Marjah, Afghanistan. After war Allen wrestled with PTSD from a Traumatic Brain Injury he sustained in Afghanistan from a Rocket Propelled Grenade blast.

He battled depression and suicide as he forged his path of purpose and inspired hope in those around him. He is a 2020 Graduate from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology. After graduating from UNCC Allen obtained a role with one of the leading technology companies in the world, IBM.

Allen published his first collection of poems titled "Can I Speak?" and his book has been supported by the Dean of Students at UNCC and Dubose Middle School. His book tells stories from the lives of characters who face different adversities. He has evoked empathy and has inspired his readers to reflect on their own unique stories.

As a dynamic Motivational Speaker and Coach, Allen has inspired Teachers, Elementary through College Students, Professionals, Churches and Entrepreneurs. His motto has moved the hearts of those who desire motivation as they journey through life; it is a lifestyle and a mindset. "Never Stop Never Quit Repeat! " is now a household motto that families are incorporating in their daily lives.

Allen is the Founder of Live N Love Incorporate, Persist Motivational Clothing Co., Brunch and Ties, Brunch and Heels and AllenLeviSpeaks. When COVID19 struck the world Allen created The Purpose Pod podcast to bring the world together. From March of 2020 to December 2020 he interviewed Lawyers, Doctors, NFL players, Actresses, Entrepreneurs, Music Artists, Poets, Authors, Veterans, Service Members, Educators and more!

He continues to use his podcast to inspire and educate his listeners into their purposeful life.
