Davey Blackburn's his life was turned upside down in 2015, when his pregnant wife Amanda was murdered during a home invasion. Their family tragedy made national news (Good Morning America, Inside Editions, and others). As a young pastor, he and his surviving son had to face a future without Amanda.

Since then, God has helped Davey grieve, face his trauma and find new purpose for his life. Davey's memoir, Nothing is Wasted: A True Story of Hope, Forgiveness, and Finding Purpose in Pain, recounts his life with Amanda and how he moved from hatred and heartbreak to forgiveness and healing.

Today Davey is the founder and director of Nothing is Wasted Ministries, a non-profit organization that helps people in trauma, tragedy, and major life transitions discover God's purpose out of their pain. And Davey hosts the Nothing is Wasted Podcast with over 3 million downloads. Davey lives in Indianapolis, IN, with his wife Kristi and their three children.
