En: The cold winter air shrouded Karlův most like a delicate veil.
Cs: Vánoční světla se odrážela od řeky Vltavy, tvořila kouzelnou atmosféru kolem.
En: Christmas lights reflected off the řeka Vltava, creating a magical atmosphere all around.
Cs: Jan, mladý Čech, se rozhodl postavit svým obavám a navštívit most sám.
En: Jan, a young Czech man, decided to confront his fears and visit the bridge alone.
Cs: Chtěl cítit tu vánoční radost a dokázat sám sobě, že je nezávislý a schopný.
En: He wanted to feel the Christmas joy and prove to himself that he was independent and capable.
