Wellness.
That's a word that is thrown around a lot, but I really wanted to get to know what that really meant. Is it self care? Is it finding healthy habits? Is it finding better ways to think? Is it finding practices that cultivate the mind, body, and soul?
I've always wanted to have a conversation about this. So when I saw that Kymberly Maitland-Smith opened Soul Sierra, a wellness and holistic hub, I knew she was the person to talk to. There have been many times that I've put too much focus on the day to day stresses of life, I've forgotten about what makes life worth living. How do we open ourselves to those experiences?
In this episode, we talked about the difference between mind, body, and soul, meditation, cacao ceremonies, veganism, vulnerability and her personal experience in discovering the world of wellness.
