Three Key Points
Mark Pattison shares the reason why he chose to go to BYU. This is because they were really committed to throwing the ball and he thought that’d be a great place for him to go.
Also, Don James was a great coach, and that would have been a great place to go as well—but for him, it was probably the right place and it turned out really well.
BYU always had this strategy to redshirt all the quarterbacks so they had that extra year in the system.
Marc Wilson states that he knew what he wanted to do, but he didn’t know how to get there—then he happened to meet the right guy who took him under his wing and taught him about the real estate career. They became partners for probably 12 or 14 years, and it turned out to be a 25-year real estate development career.
