Kyle Chambers, Finneytown Secondary Campus science teacher, and his friend, Maggie Walsh, share how they were able to partner for a Project-Based Learning experience that is causing his students to understand colors and design in way they hadn't before. 

In this episode, three of Tom Budday's ELA students reflect on their experience creating a nation from scratch. They share how the collaborative process impacted them as learners, in addition to how the experience prompted them to reflect on real-life communication challenges. 

Tom Budday, high school English teacher at Finneytown Secondary Campus, reflects on his experience facilitating a favorite project of his, "Creation of a Nation." 

Finneytown High School English teacher, Hannah Jones, joins us to share how she is having students create podcasts as their Project-Based Learning public products. 

Two students, Mzxyion AbbottRae Baggett, along with Finneytown Secondary Campus's Restorative Practices Facilitator, Tammy Dietz, talk about how students who've been trained as conflict mediators are working to support their peers and the culture of our schools. They share the story of their experiences at the overnight retreat where they were trained, in addition to how learning about Restorative Practices has helped them grow as human beings. 

Selina Bhattarai and Anthony Gilliam, students at Finneytown Secondary Campus, talk about their experiences planning and executing a Pro-Action Cafe with adults. They partnered with Finneytown Local School District's superintendent, Dr. Laurie Banks, Secondary Campus assistant principal, Lisa Samuel, and consultant with FLSD, Dan Joyner. 

Evie Epifano, a new Social Studies teacher at Finneytown Secondary Campus, shares what made Finneytown Local School District stand out during her experience interviewing with us, in addition to our new staff orientation. 

Did you know Finneytown Secondary Campus had a Garden Club? Shannon Cleghorn, a Spanish teacher and the Ebenezer House Dean, along with two students, Alyssa Bolt and Ben Page, share the story of the Garden Club and what makes it special to our learning community. 

La'Kerra Baber, senior student, and Tammy Dietz, Restorative Practices Facilitator, share the impact their work with restorative practices has had on them personally and the school community at large. The talk about the student retreats from last year, in addition to what they hope for the '22-'23 school year.
