As Winter moves to spring, and the first season of the Polar Retreat comes to a close, we three hosts of the Finnish Parliament sweat out a host episode. We reflect on the previous months and review our “Game-Film”, reflecting on the plays, moves, successes, and failures of our work and personal lives.

Scott Leith is a PhD of Experimental Psychology and a full-time data scientist at of the nations leading fitness chains (you can probably guess which one). He is exploring the why of human habits as they relate to working out, setting goals, and meeting daily challenges.

Adam is a fitness coach, a gym operator/owner, and a cross-fit competitor on the world stage. Being raised as an athlete from a young age, Adam was instilled with a “harder better faster stronger” outlook on daily life. We talk about how this “never give up, must go faster” mentality has evolved into his current mindset of understanding when to back-off and know your limits to achieve longterm goals.

In the Barrel we unpack her history and approach to healthy living. The struggles of starting her own business, and the unique offerings of Limitless Performance.

Lara & Craig are both community staples in the tech/business ecosystem of Waterloo region. Their accomplishments and contributions are many and varied. Most recently they are strapping on gloves and raising funds in support of Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre and McMasters Children’s Hospital. They are joined by 14 other brave Women & Men who are training for 13 weeks to step into the ring for the first ever Champions for Charity event.

In the Barrel we dive into their very different approach to adopting this new skill, the support system from family and friends, and moments of vulnerability that have popped up for them both mentally and physically.
