Siñora Chris Carbullido Bethea moved away from Guam many years ago and retired from the US military after more than 20 years of service. In 2022, she began taking free Chamoru language classes on Zoom with Dr. Michael Lujan Bevacqua for Chamoru as a way to learn more about the grammar and spelling of the language and also connect to home. 

For this May 10th, 2023 episode of Fanachu, she joined for a Fino' Chamoru episode to talk about her family and also share some of her poetry.
