Highlights from thundery weather on Monday 2 October 2023. This stereo recording was taken from my open bathroom window. Probably the loudest thunder I've heard in a while.

Readings were Exodus 17: 1-7, Philippians 2: 1-13 and Matthew 21: 23-32

After a few days of very muggy weather we had this thunderstorm.

I woke up at 5 and heard the beautiful blackbird's song and had to record and share it.

This was the anthem at an Evensong service in the chapel at Ightham Mote, a National Trust property in Kent. With Cheerful Voice runs events where participants have the opportunity to rehearse and sing or play at services in various venues, such as Cathedrals and chapels.
