A relaxing, stereo soundscape, with bell ringing from a nearby Church and sax practice from someone's house, plus lots of garden birds.

Candlemas inspired sermon about why darkness isn't all bad, Christ, the light of the World and an explanation of Candlemas. The reading I discussed was Luke 2:22-40

Readings were Isaiah 35: 1-10 and Matthew 11: 2-11.

These were recorded from my open window at home and are the highlights from that night's local firework sounds. Use headphones or good stereo speakers for the best listening experience.

The loudest of these were really nearby. All I had to do to record them was open the window.

This concert was a program of songs from the Sound of Music, ABBA and Irish folksongs. The choir, made up of blind and partially sighted singers, was directed by Linn Davies, with accompaniment by Fiona Dunn on piano, Takashi Kikuchi on viola and Baluji Shrivastav on sitar and drums, with other percussion by audience members.
