Jesus warned about the “leaven” that subtly shapes culture and called His followers to embody a countercultural life rooted in purity, integrity, and devotion. Through the examples of Daniel and Joseph, we’re reminded that we’re not called to withdraw from dark systems but to infiltrate them with Spirit-empowered character and influence—becoming the leaven that transforms culture from the inside out.

This sermon introduces our new Kingdom Culture series. With this first sermon Ps Hennie reminded us that Jesus came not to start a religion, but to restore God’s Kingdom and bring heaven’s culture to earth. We are called to renew our minds, move beyond scarcity and religious thinking, and live as Kingdom citizens who carry heaven into everyday life. Salvation is the starting point—our focus is to experience and release more of heaven here and now.

At the first service of every year, Pastor Hennie releases a prophetic word that sets the spiritual direction for the year ahead. As a congregation, we move in faith and obedience, trusting God to lead us into His promises and into the greater measure of all He has for us.
