Day 144 | 1 Kings 8:54-66; 2 Chronicles 7:1-10; 1 Kings 9:1-9; 2 Chronicles 7:11-22; 1 Kings 9:10-14

The temple is finished. The Ark is in place. Solomon’s prayer rises—and fire falls. The glory of the Lord fills the temple so powerfully that no one can enter, and the people fall face down in awe. Yet even in this moment of glory, God gives Solomon a clear warning: If you abandon Me, the temple will become a mockery. God desires hearts more than achievements. He reminds Israel that repentance, humility, and wholehearted devotion are what truly invite His presence. The message is clear: turn, seek, and follow—and He will be faithful.
