Fire On Your Head

Join us for part two of our discussion with Brian Parkman, where we continue talking about speaking in tongues and the process of edification. We also get sharing some interesting testimonies of leading people in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, and answer some specific objections and thoughts that have been shared with us regarding the previous parts in this series on glossolalia.

Face to Face Documents with Gary Carpenter

This week we continue our discussion on speaking in tongues, this time with returning guest Brian Parkman. Brian's a teacher at the FIRE School of Ministry, specializing in this very topic. This week we cover the purpose of speaking and praying in tongues, and why you don't want to miss out on this as just "one" of many Spiritual gifts. We also discuss the nature of personal edification and corporate prophesying.

Join us and subscribe, as this is the first half of our interview/discussion with Brian, to be concluded next week.

This week Dave Edwards and Steve Bremner try to cover the subject of speaking in tongues, but this time from the angle of asking specifically if speaking in tongues the initial evidence of Spirit Baptism? Steve says yes, pretty much always, while Dave says almost always, and take it from there basically and politely sort through our differences in a way that hopefully you will enjoy.

We cover the usual passages this topic elicits, and look today in depth at Acts chapters 2, 8, 10, 15, and 19 mostly and had little time for much else, so it might be a topic we revisit in the near future, and spend a little bit of time in 1 Corinthians 14.

What does "do all speak in tongues" mentioned in passing in 1 Cor 12:30 refer to? Are all tongues created equal? Does the Bible really say that one needs an interpreter every time they speak in tongues?

This week Dave Edwards and Steve Bremner sit down to talk about something burning in our hearts, but wind up having a spontaneous discussion on idolatry, and what that looks like in our society culture.

Do you have anything you're setting up in your life "beside" or "near" the altar of God that is taking up your focus and time, in actuality AWAY from God? Do you have any seemingly holy and right ingredients you're adding TO the Gospel's power in your life, that are actually evil and subverting the role of the Holy Spirit in your life?

If you aren't sure, and want to know how you can discern your spiritual condition, listen to this discussion and get challenged and encouraged.

Join us for the latest episode where Dave Edwards and Steve Bremner continue discussing the supernatural, and God’s greatness. Do you know how great you were destined to be? Once you become a believer, is your heart still ‘deceitfully wicked’ in God’s eyes?

Also, we discuss some feedback we’ve received and follow up on some years’ old podcasts that we felt needed to be addressed in light of developments since that time. What are we referring to? Listen and find out!

Check out the article Dave refers to in the discussion: Eyes of Imagination.

This week Dave and Steve banter about all sorts of things today, but mostly we stick to healing, the prophetic, dreams, and the difference between an eternal mindset versus a linear mindset. How clean do you need to be before you're ready for a bath? Does repentance of sins need to happen first before healing can take place?

We also practice some spontaneous operating in the spiritual gifts and publicly share and interpret an interesting dream.

Don't miss this week's podcast!
