Romans 11:33-36

This world is filled with temptation, immortality, and things that will get our focus off of God. Everywhere we look the trials and vices of the devil are placing more and more lost souls in darkness and turning Christians from the faith. To counter this we need wisdom and strength! But where can we get this wisdom? Where can we find a way to break the chains! Let’s see what God has for us today in his guides to prevail in psalms 119:9-11

Why should you judge? 1 Corinthians 2:15Intro: As a children of God we must be careful to make sure that we are following God’s commands. If we love Him obey Him(John 14:15). In order to verify that our conduct is after God we must judge all things. To judge means to filter all conduct through the Holy Scriptures in order to verify whether they are righteous.1. Spiritual verification. Being spiritual is meeting with God everyday through His bible and prayer. A. Have we judged/verified what is considered wrong and right through God’s book? We must Ask constantly “is that right” according to scriptures. Judge means “. To discern; to distinguish; to consider accurately for the purpose of forming an opinion or conclusion”.2. Spiritual Verification steers us to stay on a righteous path. The Bible is the map for our lives. If we do wrong the Bible will show us, if we do right the Bible will show us. The Bible has profitable(advantageous) teachings,the Bible shows out faults, the Bible corrects us and prevents us from making the same faults and lastly teaches us how to do righteousness. Righteousness is all the commands of the Bible. Go to2 Timothy 3:16. 3. Ignore opposers to spiritual verification. “Yet he himself is judge of no man”. The world hates being corrected and will shut us up because we make sure all actions are correct by the Bible. They don’t have the mind if Christ vs(16) because they are lost. A. Focus on the main objective and that’s pleasing the Lord.In order to do that all conduct must be judged with His book first! Application: the reason we should judge everything through God’s word is so that we can make sure we are doing right. The reason we go to church and read the Bible“He died not just to forgive you He died to make you holy and to make you clean and you ought to give enough attention to it and learn and find out how how am I supposed to live!” -Dr.Ron Fenwick.
