On September 3rd, 2010, a fire broke out in the cargo bay of UPS Flight 6. The plane left Dubai, heading to Cologne, Germany. Once the fire broke out, the fire prevention systems did little to stop the smoke seeping into the cockpit, causing havoc to the two pilots on board. “Crash investigators trace UPS plane fire to batteries.”( Jansen, Bart, 2013)(USA TODAY).
