On this week’s episode of History From The Back Pages Collin reviews the found footage horror film Creep. Aaron a struggling videographer accepts a request to film a man named Josef who lives alone in the middle of nowhere California.

On this week’s episode of History From The Back Pages Collin reviews the folk horror film His House. A couple from South Sudan flees their homeland to start a new life in England. While moving into their new home a evil witch doctor appears and starts to terrorize the young couple.

Collin reviews the excellent new film based on the beloved Resident Evil video game series. The film is directed by Zach Cregger who directed the excellent horror film Weapons from last year. It stars Austin Abrams who was fantastic as the main character Bryan. (Non-Spoiler Review). Collin will not be spoiling anything from the movie due to two of his friends whose names both start with the letter K telling him they are going to see the film soon as well.

Collin reviews on this week's episode of History From The Back Pages the WWII film Pressure. The film stars three excellent actors in Andrew Scott, Brendan Fraser and Damien Lewis. Collin’s mother and sister saw this film in theatres while they were in England and recommended it.

Collin reviews the B- level horror film Anaconda: Blood Coil directed by Justin Carter. An evil government scientist creates an army of Anacondas that escape into the woods and end up hunting six college-age women who are on a camping trip.

On this week’s episode of History From The Back Pages, Collin reviews the New Zealand Horror Comedy film Loop Track. In all honesty you will have to look far and wide to find a worse film than Loop Track. Not as horrible as Stranded or War of the Worlds (2025) but it's up there with the worst of the worst.

On this week's episode of History From The Back Pages Collin reviews the courtroom drama Juror Number 2 directed by Clint Eastwood, starring Nicholas Hoult, JK Simmons, Toni Collette, and Kiefer Sutherland. Most critics and viewers praised this film as a masterpiece and one of the best films of 2024. Sadly our host found the film incredibly dull and super predictable and almost fell asleep during its long run time.

On this week’s episode of History From The Back Pages Collin reviews the sci-fi horror film The Rift. Wick Hayes a famously handsome submarine designer is hired by the evil Contex corporation to join a NATO underwater expedition to find the missing Siren I submarine. The film stars Jack Scalia, R. Lee Emery, and Ray Wise. R. Lee Emery’s performance as Captian Randall Phillips and is by far the best thing about this movie and without him, it would be even worse. Jack Scalia and Ray Wise struggled in their roles as the main hero Wick Hayes and the main villain Robbins respectively.

Collin reviews the Australian horror film Boar which is about a giant Boar who is on a wild rampage in the Australian Outback.
