David Bennett is a public speaker, author, and teacher. He is familiar to both radio and television after many appearances including being filmed for national news and PBS. David is also known to the publishing world for his articles in numerous magazines, blogs and papers.
David had three transformative experiences; in 1983 he drowned and had a Near-Death Experience (NDE) while the Chief Engineer of the ocean research vessel Aloha. He experienced an Spiritually Transformative Experience in 1994 when he was the Manager of Dialysis Programs at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, NY. The third experience occurred November 2000, when David was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer that metastasized into his spine, causing its collapse. Now in remission and retired/disabled, David’s passion includes working with experiencers and cancer survivors to integrate their Spiritually Transformative Experiences.
His forthcoming book about these experiences, and how they changed his life, is called Voyage of Purpose: Spiritual Wisdom from Near-Death Back to Life.
